Filatov Vladimir Nikolaevich

Vladimir Nikolaevich Filatov was born on January 1, 1930 in a village. Solomino Kursk region.

From 1954 he lived and worked in Evpatoria.

In 1958 he graduated from the faculty of drawing and painting at the Moscow Central House of Folk Art. Krupskaya.

Since 1958 – the participant of numerous city, regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.

Since 1984 – member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea.

 

Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Moscow, Kiev, Simferopol, Sevastopol, Evpatoria.

In 2003, the first exhibition of the artist was held at the Tretyakov Gallery.

Creativity Vladimir Filatov received worldwide fame and recognition. His paintings are in the Tretyakov Gallery, in the art museums of Simferopol and Sevastopol, in the Evpatoria Regional Museum, and in private collections around the world.

Awarded a gold medal “Spirituality. Traditions. Mastery.

The artist died in 2016
