Born on September 3, 1952, in the village of Zolnoe, Kuybyshev Region (now Samarskaya).

He studied at the Tolyatin Pedagogical School, at the Faculty of Art Graphics (1967-1971). He graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (1982). Teachers in the specialty: I. Karas, V. Sizikov, V. Nenado. Painter. Schedule. Master of watercolor and oil painting. Realistic artist, impressionist. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1984).

Honored Artist of Ukraine (2004).

He works at the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (now the State Academy of Design and Arts): Associate Professor at the Department of Painting (since 1994). Professor (2004).

Since 1981 participates in republican, all-Union and international exhibitions.Еxhibitions – in Kharkov (1998, 2002), in Kiev (2003-2008).

Major works: “Fog” (1982), “Gray Day” (1986), “Lace” (1990), “Twilight” (1996); graphics – the series “On the Volga Broad”, “The Seasons” (1982), “Life of the Border” (1983), “Russian North” (1984), “Picturesque Ukraine” (1984–2000), “Testing Time”, “Sednev “(1987),” Chuguevshchina “(1999-2000); painting – “Sednev” (1987), “Rybachok” (1997), “Native Slobozhanshchina” (1998–2001), “I. Repin’s Motherland”, “Sevastopol – Hero City” (2000).

Works are kept: in the Kharkov Art Museum, the Sevastopol Art Gallery, galleries of the city of Togliatti, in the city of Lille, France.
