Was born on July, 16, 1921 in city Dnipropetrovsk.

Veteran of Great Patriotic war, recipient of an award the orders of Great Patriotic war of І and ІІ degrees, order of the Red star, many medals. I

n 1947 finished Dnepropetrovsk artistic school, workshop of teacher M.Panin, student  of I.Repin.

In 1954 finished the Kyiv state artistic institute ( teachers: G.Melikhov, S,Grigoriev and V.Kostetskiy) .

Took part in regional exhibitions from 1947, republican exhibitions from 1957.

From 1958 of M.Коkin becomes a member of national arts. From 1965 to 1987 worked as the main artist of the Dnepropetrovsk.

 

Works are presented in art museums of Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Chernigov, Donetsk, Kamenetz-Podolsk, Nikolaev, Zhytomyr, Sevastopol, Kherson, the TG Museum-Reserve. Shevchenko in Kanev, private collections in many countries of the world.

The artist died in 2009.
