Born on December 4, 1926 in Zaporizhia. He studied art at the studio of the Zaporozhye Association of Artists from 1951 to 1957 under G. Kolosovsky and V. Stupin. Since 1953, V. Gaiduk participates in regional, and since 1963 – in the republican and all-Union art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1963. He worked in the field of easel painting. Author of numerous landscapes and still lifes. Brother of the famous Ukrainian artist Zinaida Haiduk (1937 – 2012). Major works: “Dnieper named after V.I. Lenin “,” On the Dnieper “(1963); The Land (1965); “Village of Otradno”, “Native Spaces” (1968) and others. Works V.K. Haiduk is represented in the Zaporizhzhya Regional Art Museum, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

The artist died in 1992
