Born on July 13, 1925 in the village of Kapkany (now the neighborhood of Kerch) Republic of Crimea.

Before the war, he attended the workshop of K.F. Bogayevsky.

Since 1945, he studied at the art studio at the Feodosia Picture Gallery. I.K. Aivazovsky from N.S. Barsamov. Since 1948, he participated in exhibitions, among them since 1952 – in republican ones, since 1953 – in all-Union and foreign ones (Hungary, Yugoslavia, Finland, Albani, France, USA, Japan, Spain, Canada, Italy). In 1963, he held his first solo exhibition in Kiev.

Since 1953, Stolyarenko is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1963-1978 he was a member of the Republican Board of the Union of Artists. Since 1969 he lives and works in Yalta.

Honored Artist of Ukraine (1972).

People’s Artist of Ukraine (1985).

In 1990-1995, he worked in Paris, periodically visited Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Holland, Denmark.

In 2010, he was awarded the gold medal “For Contribution to World Culture” of the International Foundation “Cultural Heritage”.

Works of the artist are kept in many museums and galleries of Ukraine, Russia, France, Belgium, etc.

The artist died in 2018.
